Dyson Foundation Board Approves New Grants - June 2011

At its most recent meeting in June, 2011, the Foundation’s Board of Directors approved over $2,250,000 in new grants to 24 different organizations.  Major grants included:

Project Term: July 2011 – July 2013
For continued support of an intensive in-home foster care placement prevention program in Dutchess County.
 
Columbia Memorial Hospital
Hudson, NY
Grant Amount: $134,000
Project Term: June 2011 –  May 2013
Toward the expansion of the Hospital's patient safety program to their rehabilitative and nursing care facility in Catskill and their community and specialty care centers in Columbia, Greene, and northern Dutchess counties.

A two-year grant towards support of the organization's after-school and summer programs for elementary and middle school youth.
