Many Voices, One Valley 2012

The Dyson Foundation and the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion (MIPO) released on October 1st the Many Voices One Valley 2012 (MVOV) report—an in-depth survey of Mid-Hudson Valley residents covering a range of timely issues such as health care, affordability, quality of life, and the regional economy.

The MVOV 2012 report is the third MVOV study by the Foundation. Previous MVOV studies were conducted in 2007 and 2002. For this study, MIPO spoke with 4,443 residents of Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, and Ulster counties. Now, with the 2012 report, we have a ten year picture of Mid-Hudson Valley residents' concerns and priorities.

The full Many Voices One Valley 2012 report is now available to the public on the study's website, www.manyvoicesonevalley.org. Visitors to this interactive website can create and download customized charts comparing a number of different variables that are specific to each visitor's interests. It's a great way to get a better understanding of the priorities of the region's residents. You can also find Many Voices One Valley 2012 on Facebook and Twitter.
